Πρίν απο λίγες ώρες, το The Hollywood Foreign Press Association ανακοίνωσε τις φετινές υποψηφιότητες για τις Χρυσές Σφαίρες. Οπως ήταν αναμενόμενο φέτος, τα περισσότερα φώτα “έπεσαν” στις χαμηλού προφίλ παραγωγές “La La Land” (7), “Moonlight” (6) και “Manchester by the Sea” (5), ενώ το “Hacksaw Ridge” (3) του Mel Gibson φαντάζει πλέον σαν το μοναδικό εμπορικό φίλμ που θα μπορούσε να μπεί σφήνα ανάμεσα τους.
Η πιο μεγάλη έκπληξη της ανακοίνωσης είναι σίγουρα το σνομπάρισμα του “Silence”, της νέας ταινίας του Martin Scorsese, ενώ σαν έκπληξη θα μπορούσαν να χαρακτηριστούν και οι υποψηφιότητες που συγκέντρωσε το “Hell or High Water”.
Οσον αφορά την τηλεόραση, εκεί η προσοχή στράφηκε κυρίως στις νέες σειρές και συγκεκριμένα το “Stranger Things” του Netflix, το “Westworld” του HBO και το μελλόδραμα “This Is Us” του NBC.
Η 74η Απονομή των Χρυσών Σφαιρών θα λάβει χώρα στις 8 Ιανουαρίου με παρουσιαστή τον Jimmy Fallon.
